When you walk the streets with your camera be mindful of your surroundings. It is easy to be caught up by the moment and forget you walk in traffic of people, bicycles, and motorized vehicles. Perhaps you may need to cross a busy street. Or feel the urge to stop in a busy sidewalk. Be aware of your own safety as well as those around you.
Stay safe, dress appropriately for the weather, stay hydrated, and bring an extra memory card and battery for your camera.
Finally, try to keep up with the group. We will end the walk at a café for a cup of coffee, something else to drink, and/or a snack, where we can look through the photographs we’ve made. Maybe you have a final question or thoughts you would like to share. At any rate it’s nice to be able to say goodbye to each other. So stay with your group and be mindful that YOUR desire to get a photograph just right, does not delay everyone else waiting for you.
